We can help you feel validated and understood in therapy which will support you in expressing your struggles. You may also want to discover practical strategies to assist with fear or anxiety, or how to improve your mood.

What can you expect from individual therapy?


Talking in a confidential and safe space with a trained professional can allow you to understand, work though, and own your emotions while establishing your personal goals. This is your time to allow yourself the freedom to unload what is burdening you, without any fear of judgment. It is a balance between being safely guided, allowing you to discover your own answers, instilling empowerment and long-lasting change.
Our work together is ultimately to allow you to find your inner freedom to live the life you want. If you do not know where to start or what you want, we will figure it out together!
You do not fit in a pre-made mould and neither should your therapy! As such, each therapist implements a blended therapeutic approach which is client-centered. This means you are in the driver's seat at all times.
We are therapists who, as well as being here to listen non-judgmentally and let you unload and sort through your problems, also tend to be more interactive in sessions. We will always support you and will guide you to explore your emotions, thoughts and behaviours, however will gently challenge you to promote further growth.

Our role is to listen and collaborate with you in your unique situation, without any judgement, while providing unwavering support. Choosing a therapist is difficult which is why we offer complimentary calls to see if we are the right fit for each other.

It's a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

It's a a structured approach that combines mindfulness and emotional regulation to help you manage distress and build healthier relationships.
Mindfulness-based therapies
They integrate mindfulness practices to help you manage stress, emotions, and mental health conditions.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
This therapeutic approach helps you reframe unhelpful thoughts related to trauma, thus reducing distress and improving mental and emotional well-being.

Solution-Focused Therapy
(SFT)
SFT helps you identify your strengths and use them to build practical solutions that allow you to create positive change in your daily functioning.

Psychodynamic therapy
This therapeutic approach explores your unconscious thoughts, past experiences, and relationships to help you gain insight into your emotions.

Narrative therapy

Narrative therapy helps you reshape your identity by reframing your personal story and separating yourself from your problems.
Dialogic therapy

This modality is based on open, meaningful conversations between you and your therapist that explore different perspectives and deepen your self-understanding.
Terms & conditions

In-person session are provided in Burlington office (5500 N Service Rd). All sessions are also offered online via a secured video platform and can be done from the comfort of your own home, or from any private space.

Booking: All sessions, including your initial free consultation, can be booked online in advance for your convenience.

Payments/Benefits: There are no taxes on our services. Payment is accepted via etransfer or credit card, and an official receipt is always provided. If you have benefits please check with your provider directly if they cover Psychotherapists / Social Workers. Please note, we do not provide direct billing at this time.
Individual therapy fees: $65-$170/50-minute session (depending on the therapist)
We also have low-cost therapy / sliding scale for those who need.
